The Luthier

In 1987, Nicolas was born in Lille, France, who would go on to make an indelible mark on the world of guitar making.

At the young age of 17, he ventured to England as an "au pair" with the intention of improving his English skills.

Soon after his arrival, he enrolled in the guitar-making course at Newark College in the United Kingdom, where he further refined his skills and deepened his knowledge of machinery and restoration techniques through the cabinetmaking course.

Evenings were spent imparting his knowledge to others by teaching guitar making classes at the college.

Upon graduation, he founded his own business, offering private lessons in guitar making and producing an impressive array of acoustic string instruments, including guitars, ukuleles, mandolas, cuatros, and more. He also collaborated with renowned luthiers, such as A.J. Lucas Guitars and Pablo Sanchez Otero Guitars, on a variety of projects until 2014.

After a successful stint in the UK, he embarked on a journey to Europe and Southeast Asia, before settling in Berlin, Germany, where he set out to develop a fresh, innovative approach to conventional acoustic guitar making, showcasing his maturity and unrelenting passion for his craft.
